I would realy look at diesel powered, as the fuel consumption is outragous in any petrol vehicle that weighs nearly 3t. I had a 4.5l petrol and a 4.2l petrol 'cruiaer and troll now I have been converted to a diesel one and wont go back. Plus parts are plentiful where as if it isn't the engine from t...

I would highly recomend the Patrol/Maverick for comfort and plus you will get more "Bang for your buck" cruisers are fine but expensive.
Hilux and 4runners are not as comfortable and less power as either of the above choices.

I have a standar Nissan steel winch bar with a TJM OX 10000lbs winch bolted directly onto the bar as most steel bars don't require a cradle.
The only mods you need to do are the drain hole and turn the clutch around on the winch it self, I hope this helps.

If you are going to use LED's to replace the bulb you will get better light from white LED's as the coloured one loose intensity throught the coloured lens. I have asked the boys at OzLED and this is the advice they gave me.

QLD law states that anything fitted to the vehicle be it factory or aftermarket MUST be in working order to comply with the state laws. when I find the act I will post the link.
So this means the front diff must have the driveshaft attached.

I'd say a Vitara too (medium sized), cheap and easy to mod plus coils all round so comfortable for you the missus and soon to be bub.

If you want something bigger go a Patrol or "cruiser with coils, you cant go past coils for comfort or flex.

I have run both lights and I have distroyed the roo lights (220's) when a bird hit them, the light force (XGT's & 240 Blitz's) have taken a few direct hit from birds and other small wild life and survived!
