Could he up the boost on it now to drop the egts a bit or would it be best to get a cooler first? With a cooler and more boost will that bring the egts back to a safe working level without winding fuel back and affecting power?

it blows a fair bit of smoke, i think its running about 11 psi boost. Should he up the boost a bit to try and get the egts down? He is happy to put a cooler on it but he only wants to do it if it will lower the egts.

Ive used lanolin before and found that it wsnt sticky and nothing stuck to it, however it wore off very quickly from the sand blasting it off when driving up beach. I use penetrol now and cant fault it, it creeps everywhere very well and dries very hard, nothing will stick to it. I also have a coupl...

4.2 turbo non intercooled. I'm not really looking for more power i just want to be able to drive a bit further without filling up and if i can get a bit more power at the same time thats great. Also i want a bit better pick up and i have been told that gas will help with that.

pre or post turbo?

I am leaning towards the dgt because of the features the computer has but i am concerned about injecting the gas pre turbo, The dg...
