all good took the angle grinder to it and it fits... and its a gu housing with a gq center gu cvs..

hey guys my gu shortside axle wont fit back in the housing , the axle appears to be to long so when bolted up the swivle housing wont swivel...

basics gu diff.. gq housing and locker..

can the axle be ut on the spline whos done this and what did u use

i diferent diff ratio is going to make the wheels spin at different speeds?? think about it 1:1 to 1:2 it spins twice as fast... really not that hard to comprehend...

they will all engineer it but it will probably have to go through the lane chnage test.. ie hire race track paramedics.. fire bregade all that bullshit change in and out of lanes over 50m or something at 80kms...

lots of hassle considering it take about an hour to swap springs in and out..

my mates did this shortly before exerting many bearing and teeth out the side of the transfer case itself...

nah none of that idles beautifully just on start up it dies unless you tap the accel mind you if i rev it and drop the accel off the revs will also drop down low.. almost to stall before it picks up

sounds like you may have a cracked injector line... apparently pretty common when changing injectors... that or a split fuel line..

we have the new one piece of shit the old di was way better on fuel and had way more power or thos apparently turning the snorkle head side ways helps the fuel economy.. i tried it it did work still not as good as the di tho... our old di was sold too a mate they have 2 in the family and not a ...

the spring underneath the teeth causes this to chatter even when dienguaged dont know if that is you problem

Also why the hell would you want to make the CV the weak link.. its heaps easier / cheaper / fater to undo 6 bolts and change a hub rather then taking the whole swivel assembaly off

has any one ever done the dawes valve / needle valve on the CRD patrol if so how did it go also did you block the egr?

nope both turbo and non turbo injectors are the same recommended that you get a boost compensator but it just depends on your budget.. but get the injectors reco'd to make sure there atomizing properly.. other then that bolt a turbo on

yeah true my head lights were run direct off the alt

re run the head light loom from the stalke to 2 relays 1 for hi 1 for low... also check your alternator charge if the lights coming on.. who knows what youve done to what cables it could be the relay itself..

dont know much but i talked to wholesale autos the other day they gq auto can be manualised.. talked to another person about a 4l80e gear box apparently you can get adapters he rekoned that could be a cheap option if you have to buy everything anyway..
