My fiancé and I are looking to buy a 4WD for my work/ play car and we were wondering what is the better tyre and for what application. We have bfgoodrich mud terrain 265/75r 16
for a general off road tyre eg: dirt roads, sand, very little mud (basically what you find on a farm near the coast ...

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I thought Why not just drop a 60 body on a 80 chassis??

I have the same problem, can some one help us out??

Before I got a winch I would get a hi-lift jack. Can be used for all sorts of purposes and also as a hand winch. Slow, and requires a bit of effort, but it can get you out of a lot of trouble. David


x2 i was going to get a hand winch but the hi lift can do so much more

There is Rally Off Road (KJ's), arb store, geelong 4wd i know where most of them are located.... spent many hours in them wishing, also Ive been told it would be a good idea to get good recovery points and such, what would be the best for this and what am i looking at in time for fitment?

Gday guys, I am after chassie messurments for a 80 series, width and length, Im after the width between the body fastening bolts from the front to the rear wheels.
Im also after the Chassie width length and the width between body fastening bolts the number on a 70 series ute.

If that makes sence ...

Gday, I got the car into work yesterday, and i found the problems, 1. Wheel nuts finger tight 2. Brake assembly all over the place 3. plastic cap grinding on wheel.

Gday, I just got home from shooting and noticed as dad pulled car into the drive way there was a weird werring/rubbing noise coming from the right hand rear wheel, What could this be? My suspitions are the brake assembly has collapsed or its a collapsed bering.
