Cheers for that Grant, i was more thinking along the lines of the cage type that you could put a swag, trye and jerry can on. i have seen the Rolas on a few and they do look good

keep your compressor switch because then you can rig up a quick fit air hose to your front bumper to pump up your tyres

switch goes on, pump up tyres, switch goes off, compressor turns off, switch goes on, switch goes off, switch goes on BOOM... just blew up my compressor... switch goes off

My other option on the fuel front was to carry 2, 20L jerry cans with about 17L in each. what worries me is having the fridge in the same area as the jerry cans.

does anyone here have any experiance with cans in the cab? any do's or don'ts? any brand ...

cheers for the feedback, rang the TJM bloke in Orange today and he quoted me $570 installed, then rang another TJM bloke and he said $580 supplied with another $75 on top of that for installation... pays to shop around. if the shocks are $140 each then they are only charging me $10 for installation ...
