It's a very nice road car and may make it up a grassy slope but I'd be looking for somthing that has a least one solid diff or isn't front wheel drive. Maybe a forester? Not that good but better. I have found more than one or two soft roaders on sand tracks stuck in the soft. The only way to drive ...

They are an exelent 4by Std but not really anygood on road with poor fuel ecconomy and harsh susspension. They look good if you get rid of the stock rims and put wider offset rims and bigger tyres they look very jeepish. Aftermarket parts are hard to find and lockers are very exy. But with a little ...

What about drive angles brake line lenghts and stuff like that 30m spacer + 50mm springs = 80mm/3+inches.
I'm just trying to find out what else I'll need to do if I put them in.

Just wondering how many people have added 30mm spacers to get that extra lift? My weekend muddies touch when under flex. My Mav runs both sway bars as it is lovies car to drive the kids in and my weekender. 31's on the road and 32's for weekend. It's also got 50mm spring lift.. New shocks are ...

Your progressive coils probably work well because they are not too soft or too hard. Shane
YEAP your right they work.
And I'm not trying to sell my old friend anything only telling him what I've done
Maybe you should post on the 4sale section

Heya Chimpboy On my Mav I went the cheap allround option with King progressive springs just under 50mm lift on new STD's alot on sagged old ones like it had only $150 a pair . I also run 32" Silverstones that measure 790mm big for a 32 and they only touch the bottom of the fiberglass flares under ...

You'll be suprised at what a little block can do for the clearence you'll get.
Next you'll need wider offset rims so it doesn't want to tip over and increase your track. The stock rims aren't real good.

Tank and fuel filler are fine so are the brake lines.
I used cut alloy and cut old tube up round to go over them and put them on top of the original ones so th bolts had to be 30+ mm longer than std. I've got one at home I'll measure it.

I'd go the Simex they are made by Paciffic Dunlop overseas.
I've done about 5000k on mine mainly off road as it is a play toy only and only have a few marks in them and they work well.
Plus you get to say you have Centerpides on .
