thanks for the replies. If it is only for the redustion of noise i think i will get rid of it when i install a snorkel. One less join to worry about leaking i reckon and a more direct path for air flow.

Removing intake resonator

G'day has anybody removed the intake resonator from the air filter of a 3.2l diesel Navara, or any other smallish diesel motor for that matter. Any difference in performance without it? I will be installing a snorkel soon (maybe a custom??) and it would be sweet if i could do away with the resonator ...

cheers, as i do most of my 4x4 on the beach flex is not that much of an issue for me. Just want i bit more height in the rear and the ability to keep the height while loaded with gear. If the shocks do "miss out" a bit will this damage them?

I'm considering getting some new 2" lift springs for the rear of my cruiser. Just a couple of questions/opinions. they dont. what im getting at is that im not fussy..diesel or petrol, im open to ideas. just want something for about $4000ish that is reliable, capable and economical.
