The tank that it has in it is giving me problems.. everytime i turn right fuel pisses out of the fuel filler.. i looked under and the guy that sold me the car has played around with it and ran the tube straight back and across.. looks like the baleno tank will be easy to fab mounts up for and get it ...

thanks alot that made my mind up, gunna use the baleno tank.
also this engine and tank gets it about 600 k's so it will have quite good range.

Hey guys ive got a baleno 96 model donor car and $1500 i wanna pay someone who has the know-how to do the conversion for me start to finish. you get to keep the old g13a thats a runner too. ill supply the adapter kit and new exhaust.

id say go the g16b vitara engine, i heard with the gti heads you need high rpm for 4x4ing you wear out clutches fast unless you get super super low gears then its better because you have more revs to play with

My mate and i fitted one of the weber kits off of ebay and a set of extractors + a 2 inch straight through exhaust and boy did it gain some power, id estimate it at about 15-20 horsepower. whole lot cost around 750 dollars. but for an extra 1k on top of that ( roughly ) you can get a g13b installed ...

Well the cheapest i have found so far is $309 a tyre and about 35 a tyre to get them here so anything better than that is a bonus. shackles won't stop the axle moving up and hitting the bumpstop in the stock location... except now the shock will be the bumpstop. You don't want this.
