GQ rear side window removal

Guys is it just a matter of getting inside the car and pushing the glass out from each corner one at a time and have someone standing outside to catch it? My side windows are not the sliding type but are solid. Just want to get them out ready to paint the rest of the car. Easy enough to put back in ...

Hey guys just be aware that on those plans you will have to make certain adjustments to suit your actual lift. Probably obvious to most on this forum but have had a few questions in regards to this when I posted them on another forum. Cheers again for hosting them for me festy.

I assume you mean frontier. This is a copy of the email I got back from caloffroad in the states. Hello Jon, The difference between the Euro and US Frontier/Navara kits is the torsion bar lengths. The shipping cost for the Navara 3” Suspension Lift System to Australia via UPS is $269.35. You may a ...

Only reason to replace the torsion bars would be to increase the spring rate. ie. if you have a bullbar, winch, dual battery etc. If you have nothing up front I wouldn't bother but any extra weight and I would consider replacing them with something designed to take the extra weight.

Have a look at the ironman 2" kits. They come with replacement torsion bars, leaf springs, and gas shocks for about a grand. Can fit 265/75 (about 32") with this combo. Snake kits do look good but thats a lot of cash for what you get. If you want 3" calmini do import there kits a lot cheaper than ...

So you sure you've blown a diode? Yes you can replace the rectifier plate, especially if its a bosch. C'mon man it wasn't that long ago you had a trade. Good luck with the engineering side of it. At least that's one bonus of not living in Queensland.

Simex M/T's info

Ok I've done a search and can't find what I'm after. There is nothing on the simex site that I found on these tyres at all. I'm talking about the M/T's not the extreme trekkers or jungle trekkers. Just want to find actual diameter and that sort of thing as I know that simex usually undersize there ...

The 15" wheels are not only cheaper but the rubber to go on them are much cheaper. I've used 33" 15's on my maverick for years and it is a very heavy beast without any blow outs or punctures whatsoever.

I just test fitted a 15" rim from a mates hilux and it fitted fine. He was actually told when he bought it from the shop that the wheel was actually a navara offset. The tyre on it was a simex M/T 31x10.5 which for the record was pretty much exactly the same overall diameter as my 265/70 tyres I'm ...

Anyone own a D22 Navara?

Hey guys the maverick is getting a bit tired and my more extreme 4x4 trips are few and far between these days. My missus and I like the look of the navara and I like the idea of having a ute. After watching the 4wd monthly DVD on them as a second hand buy they seem a pretty good value for money ...
