Yep, did that.
Have now tried 2 seals myself one aftermaket and a genuine.
Have had a 4wd workshop try it as well.
Almost to the point of just grabbing another transfer case and chucking it. They are cheap as chips.

It's a slow drip. Could overfilling it be a contributing factor?

Transfer case rear seal leak
Morning all,
Just been having some issues with a GQ transfer case rear seal. Have tried 2 different seals and it still leaks. Putting the transfer into 4wd makes the leak worse.
Could it be 2 dicky seals? they were both aftermarket seals or could the transfer case be pressurising?
I have ordered ...

6 forward facing light under 1200mm unless you have a ute for some reason you can mount them above 1200.... work that one out!
