Re: Sierra not idling

Had the same issue with mine recently guys... Took me over 10 months to sort it. Changed fuel lines, fuel tank, hoses, carbs etc. Turns out that the intake manifold was loose. Took 2 mins to do up with a socket. Maybe just give those a tweak with a snapper and make sure its not that first before you ...

Layto, thats my issue... I want a decent offset to make up for the lack of track... So the local tyre dealer has a 15x7 -13 i think, or a 15x8 -23 I am just worried that if i go the 8" the offset will cause clearance issues on the firewall and other components, not to mention the increased steering ...

Will be good to see... Will be a lot of time, effort and money involved project... Im not againest your idea, but any reason why you just dont buy a lux? Wouldnt you save a heap on the SAS if you just bought a Solid Axle Vehicle? Apart from that, you have some balls taking on a project like that ;)

Good point. And probably the way to go if you are to keep the car. Although in the past i have had more trouble with rebuild engines than with a good old worn in one :) I would at least get a few quotes though. Three grand does seem a bit steep... And it seems that it has maybe just blown a head ...

Cameron, For under 3 grand, you could buy another pajero. I wouldnt waste the money on it unless it is truly what you want... There is a few around for a grand that are running, and you could just swap the engine over if you really wanted. Turbo Charging is a big deal, and will cost you a pretty ...

I just purchased a T Max Hi Lift from my local 4x4 shop. Cost me $150.00

Autobarn sell these as well, around the $100.00 mark, so ive been told.

Mine has been up and down a few times now, and i havent had a problem with it at all... Just make sure it is well lubricated before use.
