ahh read that to fast so 1.4 is what should be in the td5 and i have 1.14 so it is a custom gear set ? would it be a factory gear set?

and this means that its higher then standard ..... and not as good off road??

what is the advantages of having the 1.14 over 1.411????

found a big red sticker under my new xtra cab ( on the transfer case i think ) that says ... 1.140 ratio 4WD...

is this standard??

is there any where that i can search my vin number to see what it was or had fitted when it left the factory??

i had 80 series shocks by 4 way ( tough dog ) modified to suit the rear on mine. they did it in the factory for me just asked at opposite lock and the did it 4 me. have HEAPS of rear flex now, just make sure you go rubber bushes as you might break sumthing using poly. wouldnt hurt to change the ...

yep mine does this ( only the rear door ) when realy twisted up.... ive also pop some pop rivets along the rear sides from being realy twisted up.. must flex a little hey :twisted:

front shocks... OME # N73..... toyota 80 sereis 3 inch lifted shock. dont need to adjust front towers as compressed they suit the exsisting bump stops perfectly. gives approx just over 3 inches extra travel over standard shock. add this to a set of 2 inch raised springs and the raduis arms binding ...
