stringa,
it wont matter what you do, you will always get fumes in the car with the exhaust stopping there. You will need to get the exit out the back, because you could pass out at the wheel from carbon monoxide poisoning, and a cat would be a good idea as well.

Heres a shot of my RB30 twin turbo setup. http://i610.photobucket.com/albums/tt187/narnturbogq/DSCF1712.jpg Its changed a little from this shot as ive since fitted a gas research mixer, with interesting results, slipping the clutch straight away (fiixed with a safari tuff). Ive become disheartened ...

Mat_p Ive cracked the camera out and taken a few pics for you. The basic setup is an endless air in the factory alternator position, running off the crank, with the factory tensioner bracket modified. A belt runs of the endless air up to the alternator. ive used a 130 amp landcruiser one, and it is ...

Dwaynes, put the return as close to the carby as possible. The holley might be a bit of an overkill, I had a holley blue on my old RX4 (300hp bridgeport) with a big webber carby, and we had issues with flooding, and the only way we could keep the built up pressure off the needle and seat was to put ...

I know for a fact that this particular bloke (who i wont name for his warranties sake), has broken two new design front lockers. I was being diplomatic with what i was saying, because the thread is more about finding out what the TJM prolocker is like, and issues that anyone has had, not starting a ...

TJM Prolocker, GQ, who's running one? Any problems?
Im looking at putting an air locker in the front of my GQ wagon. ARB has released a newly designed air locker, and ive heard that a production class car has broken two of them now, so im a little worried by this. As the heading states, who's got a TJM Prolocker and has anyone had any issues/problems ...

I pit crew for a production class (vic) gq and the best we have done a cv in was 15 mins, but you need and good cordless rattle gun and the right size bearing nut socket, as well as a good magnet on a stick, to speed things up. Its quicker to leave the swivel hub on and just remove the hub and disk ...

Im running an MSD Blaster SS coil that is brand new. The electronic dizzy on a rb30 patrol engine has a relucter the is like a sealed unit so i cant get to the two wires that you would need use for that type of trigger for the MSD, so I've used the dizzy output wire that normally drives the coil ...

I'm trying to get my Patrol RB30 turbo conversion completed, http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/ftopic170799.php , and ive fitted a MSD 6ALN, and ive encountered a strange issue. I can get the engine running, and it will rev sweetly, but i cant get it to idle under 1500 rpm approx. (as the tacho doesnt ...

Here's my setup http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/ftopic170 ... highlight= . Still a work in progress, but well worth the effort, from the limited testing that I've done so far.
My setup is a bit of a custom setup but Vl stuff is available every where cheap, if you keep your eyes out.
Good luck

If you use the front locker sparingly and be careful with the way you drive, you can make them last. Be carefull though, if the bell breaks then the ball bearings and shrapnel can destroy the spline on the end of the axle. I pit crew for a mate who has a production class gq, and he has broken two ...

XJ Cherokee or TJ Wrangler siutable for production class?
Wondering if a wrangler or cherokee would strong enough in the driveline to be relaible in production class. Everyone is running gq patrols, but i was thinking that either of the above vehicles would be more nimble in the tighter sections of the coarses, and they are much lighter than a patrol ...
