Our last pajero was a NL 2.8TD I got a 2.5inch exhaust from turbo back fitted with one muffler. Did not notice to much of an fuel usage gain. But the boost went up by 2 - 3 psi which made it perform better. Cost $400 up here in Rocky to get done so I would do it again.

On a side note our listings at work list the same alt for both engines

even though the light is glass front still be careful of the extra heat from the globe can still crack the glass if left for extend periods.

Phillips lighting have just supplied 7inch LED head lights to be released in 2011 Kenworth prime movers.

These will be avail aftermarket with full ARD approval in about 6 months or so at a cost of around the $500 - 600 a light I would guess.

L - Light
D - Dummy
P - Stator

The redarc battery systems are only a solenoid with a brain controlling them rather than a switch in the cabin so using them to joint batteries will not be a drama as long as your cable can handle it.

Lately my pajero has been hitting 15psi boost and the release valve vents now this started to happen when I was towing a car trailer. I thought the actuator may be stuffed. Took it off and got it check but the turbo guy says it is ok.

I can not think of anything else it would be on the ...

That was only in testing. normal driving is up to 3000 - 3500 and if you accel had it is still boosting over 15psi time to pull the turbo off.

My guage always always sits on 1 psi never into vacum.

Only just touches 14 psi now and that is at about 5000rpm not sure what is happening.

Your local ashdown ingram branch is a command supplier as are Autobarn and Repco

Usually amps cut in and out for 2 main reasons.

Overheating / powering

or

Low battery

If when you turn the vol up the amp is getting to hot it will shut off to cool

or

it is not getting enough battery power to run at that duty. Maybe wiring is to small or you battery/alt are not up to the job ...

why does eveyone "come across" 24v nordics that may have fallen off a cat truck.

There is no "cheap" way of doin it. You will need atleats 10 - 15amp for the start up current.
