Some 24v alts are self excite and do not requier lights etc.
or
You can get exicter resistors which bolt to the back of the alt and excite that way.

Re: diesel complete exhaust

Our last pajero was a NL 2.8TD I got a 2.5inch exhaust from turbo back fitted with one muffler. Did not notice to much of an fuel usage gain. But the boost went up by 2 - 3 psi which made it perform better. Cost $400 up here in Rocky to get done so I would do it again.

Hi,

Have you looked at them side by side? What physical differences are there? You may be able to answer your question yourself.

Phillips lighting have just supplied 7inch LED head lights to be released in 2011 Kenworth prime movers.

These will be avail aftermarket with full ARD approval in about 6 months or so at a cost of around the $500 - 600 a light I would guess.

Thylacine I mentioned nothing about the load handling of a redarc correct if the currect exceeds the rated continous 100amps you will burn the contacts out. I was refering to you calling the redarc a dual battery system not a solinoide when all they are is a glorified solinoide. If they are only a ...

Thy,

The redarc battery systems are only a solenoid with a brain controlling them rather than a switch in the cabin so using them to joint batteries will not be a drama as long as your cable can handle it.

Hi all, My pajy is doing something funny, Usually the boost guage will go up to 11 -12 psi but now it will boost to 14-15psi and when towing a trailer you can hear the pop off valve vent. There is no "cheap" way of doin it. You will need atleats 10 - 15amp for the start up current.

but go for it
