i read a thread on a forum about patrols, looks like oil coolers are near on pointless, something to do with flow, no easy way to make oil go through cooler unless you go remote filters or something like that

i dont think you would need to move the uppers. i would have sort sort of compensating plate on the chassis mount

id love to put a long arm kit in it but being a swb the kit doesnt fit so to speak. due to the chassis being a bit on the wigggly side of life.
and yeah never though of the other things. like drive movement and the likes. well never mind me.

cant really stuff it up, just keep welding till it builds up, than grind back smooth.

i normally do it for a bottle of rum, mates rates.

Ive seen hundreds of these leak over my years and most were done by guys that beileived It cant really be stuffed up.

You should be able to weld the rings on ...

zd30 does not quite go in the same place as the gq prefilter, unless you drill some holes, standard holes leave the zd30 filter about 50mm off the guard, some pvc will fix this

so....

who has changed there intake manifold on there diesel engine, what did you do, and what was the result?


i changed my turbo 4.2 intake to a 'wave' design, i feel the egt in all cylinders evened out, felt like the torque increased two fold, and way more responsive.
