thanks guys, i figured it out, the fuel tank was full of shit. so the pickup filter was choked up and it was too hard for it to suck through. runs sweet as a whistle now

I am not getting a drop of fuel out of the outlets on my 2.4 2LTHE motor in an ln65 lux. i pulled out the fuel cutoff solenoid, working fine, i blew it all out with air compressorand fuel pisses out of the hole that the solenoid sits in so i know fuel is getting to the pump. the 4 lines at the back ...

just found some more info!! Dad reckons on most tanks hes seen (hes never seen a lux one) there is a ring on top of da tank where your lines go into the tank. push and turn on that locking ring and it should come out.

if you drop ur tank out i think u can easily remove the pickup. just pull it out and see if theirs any shit blocking it and try what the other guys said bout blowing air up the line towards the tank.

If you cant drop it out urself me and ryan may be able to come up tomorra arvo to give u a hand.

Only other thing i can think of is a blocked pickup in the tank or if you sucked some crap up into the line.

i get bout 500 klms out of 55 litres in my 2.4 turbo diesel lux

since you were going to go to the trouble of pulling the bearings out any way you may aswell just replace them. theyre not very expensive and it saves you stuffing around pulling them out again when the finally pack in.

What do you guys think of climax or superior shackles? Are they worth the $500 dollars a pair and is it worth putting them on a hilux with a sagged old man emu 2" lift. or am i better off just putting extended shackles on there? any opinion appreciated.

im putting 4" lift into my lux with 31's. ive seen plenty with the same setup and they dont look too stupid...

im guessing heater hoses cos its right at the back of the motor.

when i got it the turbo wasnt actually bolted on so i bet they chopped da hoses when they took it off. i just cant see any pipes for the hoses to go on anywhere.

yea the injector pumps are different. the thing that puzzles me is that all the motor to motor hoses were left connected. y not these ones? i would have thought the got to the turbo/manifold aswell.
