I have owner one of these and have since moved on to a compressor type fridge.

I think the other factor to consider when running on 12V is that fact that you are moving and the refrigerant is somewhat sloshing around. This hampers the performance - well did for me.

1999 had sorted out the spline wear problem in the transfer case. Simpler vehicle (no computer).

Agree 20K is way to expensive unless lots of expensive accessories.

Simple solution, how simple do you want ?

I put a tap inline with the heater hose. Turn the tap on in winter, turn it off in summer

I agree a 255/85/R16 will fit ok but don't believe it will be technically legal, at least in Qld. My copy of the Qld Transport modifcation guide states "The rim diameter may be varied from the standard size ...

On my county the earth cable runs to the outrigger just behind the battery box. I then have another short earth strap from the chassis to the engine

I just replaced mine with a stainless whip intended for UHF. No noticable loss in reception and quite sturdy

I have a County with 265/75R16 Cooper STTs fitted to Disco 1 Rims. There is a small decrease in turning circle. There is aso some small rubbing on the upper spring mount at the rear then the axle articulates and the spring is fully compressed. Annoying but it doesn't appear to damage the tyre.

My wife is quite petite and drove our 110 with an LT-95 all through 2 ...

I've had my N/A 4BE1 to Highway Diesel twice in the last 18 months. Have always been happy with their work. First time was for injector work. Second was for a pump overhaul.

Work has always been good with noticable improvements in power etc.

The price on the pump rebuild got away though from the ...

I'm a Cooper fan but it appears they don't make the new STT in 255/85 yet so may need to bo back to BFG MT.

Currently running two sets of tyres on my County 235/85R16 Cooper STs for trail/highway and 265/75R16 STTs for offroad. Both sets are fitted to 16"x7" Discovery Steel Rims.

My 265's rub on the upper spring mount on articulation.

In my previous post I referred to Diesel having a Cetane rating of 40. Seems this is for the US. In another post on another Oz forum there is the following quote:

"our cetane number at Mobil refinery is a consistant 52 > 53 leaving the refinery , all the refinerys in Australia run ...

According to my reading currently the cetane spec on diesel fuels is a minimum of 40. There is no minimum spec for Jet A (using ASTM D-1655 specification)

Sounds a bit hit-and-miss, in that if the cetane is higher than 40 you will get more performance but if it is below 40 you wont.

Yes, I have a similar sock for my 110 snorkel..

Used is mainly on the cape with finer filter oil. Caught a lot of dust there that I suppose otherwise would have ended up in my main filter.

I have an LT-95 with a 0.996 transfer case ratio. Not sure what ratio you are running ?

If I assume for your vehicle:
* 1.113 hi-ratio transfer case ratio
* 255/85R16 tyres ~33"
* 4.7 R&P diff

Yeah I've busted one. Have maxi flanges now in the County plus carry a spare

Make sure you carry extra extra hose clamps. I have two on each rear spring and had them let go at Levuka recently with a big bang. Had to pop the spring back in and replace the clamps.
