k, so that's not going down to well. I'll just chuck Sin-everything in there then  Can anyone in the ACT region tell me where I can get some Champion sparkies (and possibly leads) from though? I couldn't find them in Tugger's at Auto/Repco and Super*BLEEP*. Is there a brand/model/type I can ...

Hi guys. I've been wondering for a long time what the most economical and practical (and safe!) bunch of fluids etc are good to go in the TJ Wrangler. Example, Mobil 1 is a bit cost prohibitive for engine oil for me, but on the other hand Shell Helix is only good for serving to drunken party ...

How much does a set of extractor's cost? I was quoted once $500 from Hammond in Qld.

Transponder key problem? Is the key in good condition? Any other singal/electrical interferance? How do I check for this? I'm assuming you don't mean bare wires that are crossing? And at teh expense of repeating myself, the oil pressure indicator gauge isn't showing anything (teastred working ...

Well, I'm away for the weekend so I wont be able to test these things out =( Tired of loosing these things for other people instead of wasting them on my car! :D @Chester; Yeah mate I have that key. It may have been knocked around a bit in my Woolies Green Man-Purse with my portable hard-drives ...

Could it possibly be the key? The car just isn't doing anything mechanical, no noises except the usual beeping as you get in the car, the console is fine and reporting no errors, and reporting errors fine when I disconnect bits'n'pieces. Does the key use a battery to send a signal or is my model ...

You'll likely have\can get a digital copy of the parts list from each supplier. If so I can possibly scrounge ...

Wouldn'tch'ya know it! I go to get the Wrangler (TJ '99) rego-checked after sorting out the O2 sensor problem (amongst a couple of other minor things), and after giving it a few very successful and promising test runs over the last month, he dies the day before delivery =( Couldn't wait until AFTER ...

Chapter Whatever of my ordeal: Scuse the French, but ffs! I've put this thing through three mechanics (two mechs, and 1 auto-spark) now. Rolfe Motor's in Phillip told me it was finally working after replacing the spring coil in the steering column, then it dies about 20 k's out of town. Exact same ...

Well, I finally got the correct TPS, slapped it in and nothing new to report. Jeep's still kangarooing and pumping in to much fuel. A mate reckons the O2 sensor might be playing up, especially with the big crack in my exhaust so there's something to test. I also attempted to get a computer read-out ...

Got the Jeep back to the state it was in prior to the 'deep wash'. Which means it only splutters now when it hits 2600-3000 rpm in 2nd or 3rd. But it's running again w00t!

Mostly just gave a lot of the connectors another clean. Brakes are stiff, steerings crappier than ever, but he's still going!

Hey Wooders thanks for the advice. I've only just now had a chance to respond (and I can't view the forum from work because the site blocks me) I'll have a look at the TPS etc, tonight hopefully. I'm new to this and I'll be waxing technical with the assistance of the techie manual. And how do I ...

Hey fellers. I recently found a pond to swim the Jeep (Wrangler TJ '99) in, and after getting bailed out, the Jeep has been running a little queer. He idle's funny, blows some black smoke and the oil turned black in less than an hour, chews fuel more than usual and, cut's out when I turn corners or ...

'allo gadies and lentlemen. First time post, and for all the wrong reasons. Bare with me whilst I explain the situation. I do believe this is my '99 Wranglier zook4fun has referenced. I inherited it with 50 mm or so lift along with the obligatory cracked fanimold. It looks like it was twisted apart ...
