Re: Feroza Factory WorkShop manual...
Ironically the new owner wanted to take the electronic version I had.
Nevertheless I am sure there is someone out there who wants it.

Feroza Factory WorkShop manual...
G'day Heven't been on this forum for a while as I sold the Feroza. The other day I was cleaning the garage and I found my factory workshop manual. It was a great reference for those learning about their cars. I ordered a copy of this service manual when I used to work for Daihatsu back in the day ...

As you might already be able to tell I have had a Feroza for a few years I loved it and modified it quite a bit. 3.5 inch lift and 31s on a Feroza! Big achievement. Sold ...

I would go with 30's but I have a brand new set of 31's on new rims from my other 4x4. It did make a difference to gearing however most of my off road work is mud so not much lost there. Got the head of yesterday. Shit job at home. I was actually surprised how well the kia is put together. Thanks ...

Thanks for that. The sites are great. If I get the 3 inch suspension lift could I go with the lower of the body lifts? I wish a 4 inch suspension kit was available. Either way it has to be done. Its going to be funny. Thanks for the info. I am ripping the head off tommorow. I hope the thing is on ...

Hey Chris There are many kits you can buy with detailed instructions on how to do the job, however it is cheaper to build your own kit. You can start with an isloator. Check this link. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=MB3670&CATID=24&form=CAT&SUBCATID=619 All you need is the appropriate ...

Try and pull the column apart and spray some contact cleaner on the connecting plates for the stalk. A lot of dust and grime gets in there. Also I don't know what type of arrangement you have for your spot lights but you should check the signal wire connection for the spotlights. That’s going to be t ...

Just found the site. They are called Climax Drop Shackles
Check the site. It looks good. Now the question is do they make them for the Feroza? If not how hard is it going to make them fit...?

Extended shackles for the rear
Hey guys, Has anyone used extended shackles on the rear leafs of the Feroza? I am looking for the pin type greasable units. I don't know the specific name but they have a pin that you pull out and the extra travel is huge. About 6". Providing you have really long shocks. A mate has them on his Hilux ...

I have just won a bid for a Beaver hand winch on ebay. Got ot for a $142.50. Comes with 20m or wire robe 8mm thick. Been used once. Should have it in the next couple of days. It's only rated at 800kg but with a snatch block it should do the job well. The RRP is about $400. We should have a recovery ...

Thanks for that MM. I have thought long and hard about this. I know that the electric winches are a great convinience but as you say somethimes we need to go backwards. I don't mind putting in the hard Yaka for a hand winch recovery. I thought a high lift would be a good tool. I just don't think ...

Yes MM, The box is back on the road. She just had a fresh paint job to fix all the bush damage. New interior. Just did the pitman and Idler arms. Some new tyres. The body lift is next. I am now looking into winches. However am actually contemplating getting a high lift jack and all the accesories to ...

Hello. I have had issues like this in the past. You should get the battery load tested. It sounds like thats where the issue is. Just because the battery is new it does not mean that it is a 100%. You have already done a current draw test so unless you have an interior light staying on somewhere it ...
