Ironically the new owner wanted to take the electronic version I had.
Nevertheless I am sure there is someone out there who wants it.

Feroza Factory WorkShop manual...

G'day Heven't been on this forum for a while as I sold the Feroza. The other day I was cleaning the garage and I found my factory workshop manual. It was a great reference for those learning about their cars. I ordered a copy of this service manual when I used to work for Daihatsu back in the day ...

What do I buy?

Hey guys, This question has probably been asked a million times however I need to make the right decision on what 4x4 to buy next. As you might already be able to tell I have had a Feroza for a few years I loved it and modified it quite a bit. 3.5 inch lift and 31s on a Feroza! Big achievement. Sold ...

I have a work car. Just like my other one would be fine. F300 with 31x10.5
and all the other goodies I had.
Never considered a Rocky.
Turbo Diesel would be nice.

Something to consider.

Thanks guys.

Hey guys,

got a mate who just got a 2009 D22 4x4.

He wants to put some bigger tyres on in.

Cheers.

The acc wire connected to the unit is loosing power at time of starting. Find a different acc wire in the loom. The one you have selected at the moment is part of a system which is shut down when cranking. I had a customer with the same problem. We chased the wiring to the unit and battery. It ...

Hey Chris There are many kits you can buy with detailed instructions on how to do the job, however it is cheaper to build your own kit. You can start with an isloator. Check this link. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=MB3670&CATID=24&form=CAT&SUBCATID=619 All you need is the appropriate ...

Try and pull the column apart and spray some contact cleaner on the connecting plates for the stalk. A lot of dust and grime gets in there. Also I don't know what type of arrangement you have for your spot lights but you should check the signal wire connection for the spotlights. That’s going to be t ...

$600 bucks fitted. Thats crap. There is no way that CV's should cost that much. A couple of hours labour and no more than $140 ea for the CV's. That is allready expensive.

I would definitlly hunt around for a better deal.

Just found the site. They are called Climax Drop Shackles
Check the site. It looks good. Now the question is do they make them for the Feroza? If not how hard is it going to make them fit...?

Extended shackles for the rear

Hey guys, Has anyone used extended shackles on the rear leafs of the Feroza? I am looking for the pin type greasable units. I don't know the specific name but they have a pin that you pull out and the extra travel is huge. About 6". Providing you have really long shocks. A mate has them on his Hilux ...

I have just won a bid for a Beaver hand winch on ebay. Got ot for a $142.50. Comes with 20m or wire robe 8mm thick. Been used once. Should have it in the next couple of days. It's only rated at 800kg but with a snatch block it should do the job well. The RRP is about $400. We should have a recovery ...

Thanks for that MM. I have thought long and hard about this. I know that the electric winches are a great convinience but as you say somethimes we need to go backwards. Hello. I have had issues like this in the past. You should get the battery load tested. It sounds like thats where the issue is. Just because the battery is new it does not mean that it is a 100%. You have already done a current draw test so unless you have an interior light staying on somewhere it ...
