zookprojectfnq - Is your tank going back in the standard position at all? I'd like to see a 3/4 setup on a zook with the tank in the original position. Is it even possible?

Just get the tallest, skinniest spare you can find. Even if it's an inch or two short it'll be ok for emergencys. I've got a bar tread that weighs half as much as a 31 but measures 29 inches tall.

I'm running 31's with 4.16's and standard 3.7 diff centres. The low range is good but it hasn't really helped with 5th gear all that much.

with the right mods a weber can be pretty awesome off road. i'm running mine backwards with the vent mod done and my it'll only really splatter a bit going down very steep descents. it does feel as though it revs a bit harder too.

transfer case breather 1.3

I'm currently fitting breathers to my diffs, gearbox and trans case. What has everyone used to get a hose onto their trans case? There doesn't seem to be enough length to get a hose on whats left after the cap is popped off.

is that from the metal brake line brackets? my shocks ended up getting pierced from the brackets so when i replaced the shocks i removed the bracket and pushed the line away from the shock to avoid damage to the new shocks. it might be worthwhile doing this to avoid having to buy new shocks.

are LJ80 cv's, axles and diff centres much weaker than sierra gear? in regards to strength, what do you recommend as the max tyre size for an LJ80 driveline? i know gearing is an issue but if the driveline won't handle 31's then i guess there's no point even getting to that stage.
