Re: going from sierra to vitara ?

Long wheel base models of the vitara are one of the most stable vehicles i have ever driven. As for comfort wise u will be in heaven compared to the sierra leaf springs. The calmini system is great, though the shocks are horrible. Im currently running a SWB with 3 inch spring, 3inch body and 31 ...

remove the drum, remount it in the opposite direction as best you can, and with the use of a BFH, or in my case a mallet, a few seconds and a few swings will do the trick.

from what i know, the grand vitara and vitara chassy is pritty close. So i would assume they would be interchangable, but please dont take my word. Keep a measuring tape in your pocket and the next time you see a grand vitara at the local shops sneak a peak at the spring perches. As for shock, i am ...

cheers. Much appreciated. Was there much difference with it installed? Was thinking of getting a return to centre steering stabliser from tough dog, and making up a bar type thing to do the same job as the bar. Anyone know mounting gear comes with the tuff dog RTC steering dampers for vitaras?

yeah can confirm monkeyplex. Might fits with room to spare with a 3 body lift. I only put a tyre on the car for long distance black top work. Wouldnt want to leave it on there while wheeling, my hinges are already flogged out from the door rattling, let alone a 31" tyre on the back.
