Use a lighter?
Or get something thin, slide it in the gap and push it to the back.
Or slide it forward with a bit of pressure.
Did this in dad's car.

Anyone know where to get treps in sydney?
We have tried a few places but the quotes we were getting sounded like they didn't want to have to get them in.

I had both on a nissan and i found the ceramic spooled up a bit quicker but as stated above, if you turn up the boost they tend to shit themselves. I ended up with metal because i was running up to 18.

Went through the manual and it says to drop it out (transfer and gearbox) as a unit.
Had to call it a night after a cracker egg on my forehead, stripping the head off a bolt and a serious lack of beer. :bad-words:
I was thinking i should have removed the gear lever but i was just over it by then.
I ...

So farking close!
Can't get the forks to let go.
I have the stick in 4 low and it just holds on.
I really don't want to drop the whole box as those bolts on the bell housing against the firewall are a bloody nightmare.
Any suggestions?

Just about have the transfer out, just have to get those bloody forks right.
I forgot about a bog hole a while back and the oil in the box looked like cream.
Seems to be a lot of shit on the forks too. Maybe preventing smooth shifting?
Should have the new transfer in tomorrow and i'll try ...

I have a hilux Ln106 and have been getting troubles in 4wd.
When going down a hill and she is in low 1st using the engine for braking, it will randomly pop out of gear and into neutral.
It is the transfer case because i stopped, pushed the stubby lever back into 4 low and it drove again.
It has ...

I hate to say this but JK.
Go the rubicon.
Despite what a few people have said they aren't too bad on road and they're brilliant off road. Double locked, stronger drive line and low gears in the transfer.
Another option is the new 90 defender?

I have rockcrawler leaves in the front with standard in the rear minus a couple of leaves.
The front does flex quite well but a week after putting them in it sagged heaps on the drivers side.
Had them for a few months now and i think i might try EFS 3" soon.

to counteract the leverage the bigger tyres have on your motor ie robbing all your power, you will need to change the diff ratios.
like changing gears on your push bike when the going gets tough.

Your probably going to scrub the 33's on the back of the front wheel arch.
I have the model after yours but they are similar. Your car won't ride as nicely as a car with coils.
Coils for comfort, leaves for loads.
My advice would be to do a search in the hilux bible and a general search. There ...
