yeah all round is EFS springs and the extended anti inversion shackles, rides quite nice but the only driving i have done with it since the lift has all been local suburbs, nothing off road yet. She rides pretty well, i was expecting the worst but its better than i thought! i think from standard its about a 4 inch lift as the old springs were down a bit. no body lift and the standard shackles are in it. the only non standard thing on it now are the tyres, but they wont affect the measurement regency park want. i have put the standard leaves in the beast and am considering taking leaves out of the packs now! looking forward to having it inspected!

thanks for your help guys, yes it had raised springs in it, but only 2 inch taller than standard, i have bolted the old leaves (yes the origional standard 15 yr old leaves) in it and the front is ok, but the rear is still too tall! go figure! i managed to find some specs in an old service spec book ...

havent found the info in any of the manuals weve been able to get hold of. i dont really want to pay for an engineer to look at it if its going to standard height, but if need be i will put the lifted leaves back in and get an engineers certificate then. the height that i have been given by regency ...

i have a 84 petrol 2f 60 series, cant see it dropping oil anywhere except for the rear of the motor after a long run!

my question is can i change the rear main in the car? without pulling the box/motor out? i just cannot be bothered pulling anything apart to far....

check the front chassis rails for cracks, they are well known for it. usually appears by the shocker mounts but i have seen a few with cracks through the rails where the steering box mounts. can be an expensive fix.

you can get feathering on both edges due to hard cornering, my ef xr6 falcon does this due to the fact that i live in the hills, and like to drive the car like it was meant to be driven! it can also be caused by underinflation and incorrect toe, although incorrect toe angle will usually show up more ...

cheers for your help guys, looking at the pic of the crab bar i think mine used to have one fitted, as it has the big brackets mounted on the side panels in the back!

maybe they are legal to sell in qld, but every wrecker down here (sa) i have approached tell me they cant sell seatbelts. not even if they put it on the invoice as something else.
