probably a spring compressor would help ..can get them for about $20 off ebay :) - am thinking of the same on the wifes car, what prices have you got so far? About $780 or so for 4 shocks and 4 coils, the Tuff Dog ones are about $1550. That's a big saving considering interest rates and petrol ATM ...

Iron Man lift for 2001 NM Pajero
I'm considering getting a 2" lift and fitting it myself, just wondering if anyone has fitted the Iron Man kit. If so what's it like, also is there anything to look out for when doing the install that could make the job a little easier. Or any tool's I will need that a normal tool set may not have ...

My KJ and it's new lift
I joined this forum to learm more about my wifes Pajero but as it has a Jeep section I thought I'd post a pic of my KJ next to a stock Grand. I've just installed new rear coils and front strut plates. New extra long travel shocks are due this week, then I can test it out. Prior to this lift I was ...

what axle would you use? could you get one to match the rear? or would both need swapping?? I can't advice you on that, as the Mitsi is new to me. But I have to ask, why would you want to do it when you already have a combined 5" lift and running 35's? If it were me, I'd not do it. I'd be looking ...

Wheel speed on centre display (NM Exceed)
I love this car, it has a compas, sea level trip meter and a wheel speed thing (I think there is somthing else but I can't remember). Problem is can't figure out the wheel speed thing, it dosent do anything. Do I need to do something to get the wheel's to turn on it or get a reading of some sort ...

Changing a dash light globe
On my dash there is a pic of the 4x4, it shows 4 lights. 2 of which are on when in 2wd etc..... (I don't know if they are all the same and this is my 1st Pajero). Anyway, the other day the rear right light (on the dash) went out. I checked to see if I could get it back by putting it into 4wd, then ...

Re: Stock coils & shocks + spacers (NM) - advice
Mate, a set of Kings is your best bet. You can get them in either standard height or 2"raised, for around $130 - $150 an end. They'll give you a MUCH better ride than someone else's second hand standard ones. Also might pay to look at your shocks. If it's still got the standard ones, odds are they ...

Stock coils & shocks + spacers (NM) - advice
Hi all, This is my first post on Outer Limits, also my 1st question regarding my Pajero. My wife & I bought the 2001 NM Pajero about 6 months back and I'm thinking it needs new coils and shocks (rough ride). I thought that while that was getting changed I'd get a 2" spacer lift (if you can get one ...
