5th gear failure

I have a 97 B2600 Manual, have done 220k and gearbox is still going well, I have never gone up a hill or towed in 5th, largely due to the gutlessness of the engine, I couldnt do it even if I wanted to, Perhaps this has preserved the gearbox...

I have an 81 mq sd33 four speed, and 4.6 diff ratio I converted to a 85 sd33t, with five speed and 4.3 diff ratio, much better at highway speeds, will now sit on 100 very happily. I recommend changing the diff ratios to the turbo model ones, (4.3:1) and also getting the rear lsd at the same time the ...

33x10.5R15

Has anyone fitted BFGoodrich 33x10.5R15 tyres to a 15x7 rim to a SWB MQ Patrol, with standard suspension?
I am currently running 31x10.5R15, and would like to go to a taller tyre without changing rims or upgrading suspension at this stage.

Any idea if tyre would rub on anything?
