Hilux gettin warm

Done a oil change on my 3 litre non turbo lux last week, took it for a run on Saturday,temp gauge went up higher than normal , when I stooped it and idled, it went back to normal.Any Ideas???

i have a mongoose in my lux.done 200000 k's of dust and mud and water.no dramas at all.just carry spare battery for remote. they chew them up.rrp is about 495 fitted. :P
