When i do the conversion i am going to buy a complete Terrano and swap the motor, box, driveline , electrics etc
So effectively I will end up with a Terrano with a D21 Nav body.

i agree with V.W. Dave just use your toe on acc pedal and heal on the brake , or i have found that you and use the clutch with you heal and toe on brake with right foot on acc but this is hard to do when in rough ground

Gutless . I agree with the 1uzfe idea but i already have a v6 and have access to heaps of spares .
I did look at using the 1uzfe but as i have got all the diffs gearboxs ( im using hilux manual ) and the V6 for the cost of buying a 1uzfe im gonna give the v6 a shot

I was discussing a future engine swap with an engineer today and he said the largest size that can be passed in a sierra is 3.4 litres and then only if it is naturally aspirated but that is still alot of motor for a little zook. I spoke to my mate in perth who does the engineering for vehicles ...

As for the alloytech well first marks adaptor dont have any adaptor in stock to mate it to Lux Xfer the Vz wich came with the alloyteh run a body control module wich makes life a whole lot harder as i would then need to run 2 aftermarket computers one for the motor to eliminate the BCM and one to ...

i did lay under the car when he engaged it and there was no noise at all also looked at the vaccum line ( didnt swap them round) but they all seemed connected and not perrished at all.

I think it will be harder than you imagine and owe you more than $1600 once you are finished. I think the flexiglass canopy is horrible. You really need to copy the factory Sierra optional hardtop, but you'll need some pretty advanced skills- an english wheel to get the curves right (there are more ...

yeah the idea of aluminium came from 2 things 1 my mates gets sheets of it realy cheap and 2 flexiglass want $1600 for a canopy , i could do a lot to the zook for that sort of coin.

yeah mate was planning on lining the inside to stop some of the road noise.
