Re: tb42 turbo injectors

So any high impedence top feed injector to suit either a RB20, RB26 will fit? What the differnece in spray patterns, are the single nozzles better in the tb42 manifolds or do the 4 nozzle style atomize better. Does it all depend on the injectors position in the manifold or it one style just better ...

Any furthur details on this, as am looking for an Something stronger than standard GU as keep breaking the CV outer axle, and don't want to go through the work of bracing, rolling and shaving a GQ front diff to fit Cals (Is it true or just hear say that GU Cals are weaker to GQ Cals???)

Re: Best work horse/tow ute

Going throught this hassle myself, but a 3T ute isn't an option for me as trailer, patrol and tools and spares is a shade under 3.2T. The Gu 4.5 pulls it well but sitting between 100-110 fuel economy wavers between 22 and 28L/100K, where as mates cruiser sits on 110 all day and only chews it's way ...

We're in the same boat, Wild Racing should be there, but not 100% sure as of yet, still got a bucket load of work to do on the patrol left over from Round 2. Nothing about 9 or so late nights in the shed won't fix!!

See you's there

Thanks Create, any idea what the ID of the XF body is, does the existing nissan throttle cable fit, or was the arm off the nissan body used on the XF throttle body?
On a side note what other mods were done to your TB45? ECU, Cam, Porting, Compression?? and what was the end result?

TB42E Throttle Body possible upgrades

Has anyone upgraded the throttle body on their TB42E, as this seems to be the biggest restriction on the intake side of things. Throttle body ID only seems to be about 55mm or so (will measure this and the diameter of the Intake manifold inlet as soon as it's pulled apart. Hoping for either a direct ...

Macneil i didn't isolate the charge wire i just had to seperate it from the wiring loom and have it connected directly to the battery so the vehicle would stop once the isolator is activated. Looked at Switching the earth, but 4 batteries at 4 different spots on the car, means 4 earths that require isolating (so i thought), it was just going to be easier to switch the positive. Fitted Kill Switch now TB42E won't idle

Just spent the afternoon wiring in a manual isolator now after playing around with the wiring loom it won't idle.
