Its definitely moving as i removed the rubber casing so i can see the gearbox while I'm driving, i think its mainly when i hit some bumps in the road it doesn't seem to handle them very well. It moves at least 3 inches to the right. But the actual gearstick is fine and not moving within the gearbox.

whole gearbox moving

I seem to have a slight problem with my gearbox, when i start to take off in 1st gear the whole gearbox will slowly move to the right until the clutch is fully out and then go back to normal. Is it a broken gearbox mount?

In order to get home i had to keep my foot on the clutch, brake and accelerator when i was at a red light. I had a fiddle with the carburetor and tried to start the car but now ...
