Re: Water to air intercooler

Any ideas on what to use for a water tank?? or are you just making them by yourself to suit??

when i put mine in id like to maybe use a tank mounted high with a filler cap instead of the inline filler cap.

Re: rd28 intercooler setup..

You would need the mounts and a GU inlet manifold. And then put in some wiring for the thermo fan under the intercooler. I'll have a front mount IC setup from my 96 2.8 for sale soon in brisbane if your interested..

On my GQ rd28 i increased the exhaust and air intake size and replaced airbox with a larger donaldson, also a good tune with a little more fuel will help. Ive replaced standard turbo on mine but its a gt2560 which gave it more mid and top end power, so you probly want something slightly smaller for ...

they dont all crack heads, and go good if you even did the mods you say you wanna do. I believe they run cooler with a big exhaust and good tune, hence lessening any chance of a cracked head.

I dont have weekend tyres, and 33s suck alot of power out of a 2.8 so id like the gearing standard to get some low down power back because as ppl know they lack low down power even on standard tyres.

I'd like some 4.88s for my 2.8 cuz have 33s and want it back to standard gearing on those tyres. Will then have genuine 4.6s for sale.

yeah im running 4" flexy kit with bigger procomps around 6" and they are good i like them. Just that its best to run rear sway bar on the road, and disconnects for easy removal at the tracks.

what did you get done there and what did they charge you more for??

just that i have my patrol booked in for a dyno tune on monday, should i pull out!?!?!?
