Can someone please grill me or link me to fuel prices etc as i am interested in buying a late 90's + discovery in either V8 on gas or Turbo Diesel....just wanna know the truth about fuel costs and reliability from people who actually drive them....

haha thanks everyone i think i got that....yeah both of the "adjusters" were seized and i guess i have to replace the whole lot....:(

Also are the shocks really that hard to replace as they have that useless control switch in cab ?

Yep i got one too, was gonna fix it last week but couldnt be assed , now i dont have too, even though i am about to sell it any fix is a good fix i say, cabin fumes were getting pretty bad....now al i need is an idler arm and shockie recall lol

Sounds like a plan to me downloading now and yes it was the tie rod, mechanic had quick look today going to fix the problem (still not identified) on tuesday....

Had a look at it today, there is a bar which i assume is the torsion bar, (has a section about 5 inches long where it looks like you can adjust it ) Well where this connects to what i think is the idler arm it is loose as a bit on the right and heaps on the left so i assume i need to replace the ...

1. My feroza has a very loose front end, like steering a dodgey rowboat? I am not mechanicaLLY minded to start, the front right has movement when moved towards me, held at 10 and 2.... could it be bearings? 2. ALso, i need bigger tyres and rims as i have 235/75/15's and there is still room to move ...

Just to let you know my mate ( we are in QLD) got defected with a 50mm bodylift in his mq patrol, Copper said that anything over 30mm needs to be engineered, talk to Queensland transport or an engineer mate BEFORE you start to save dramas , i will follow your thread as its what i wanna do

all speaker wires sorted but the wires left for the last 3 are different,
i have a red a purple and an orange wire on the navara and on my kenwood harness it has a red a black and a yellow wire left, which goes with which please >?
