Just happened across your post. I've got a set of 2 of the marlin seals that I've had kickin in a box for a few months now that I'll prob not ever even use since I've not got a solid axle up front to even use them on. :P They're yours for the price marlin lists and post from the states to you if you ...

Dave is right on with the prices over here. But if you look real hard, you can find used, working e-lock diffs for a better price than that. I put e-lockers front and rear into my FJ60 for about $1500. And $400 of that was for a full float rear end. And BTW, you don't need to mod a full float axle ...

which subaru calipers for rear disc conversion?
I've read of some dudes using subaru calipers with integrated park brake mechanism for their rear disc conversion. I am trying to gather which model and years are the ones to use. And if it's the fronts or rears I need to get from the subaru. Can some one help me out? It will be to suit a 60 series ...

www.sky-manufacturing.com makes a kit as well. Though they're in the States (Oregon). May be more $$ than what you would pay down unda, but they do atleast have some good pics of what the kit entails and what it looks like etc, etc. Have at it: www.sky-manufacturing.com. Click on Toyota at the left ...

Got it--thanks. Ya, there's been some guys over here that've had front shafts made with the long splines to suit the e-lockers, but no rear ones yet. Though there also was talk of having custom axles made for the FF rear that were splined on each end and then just use drive-plates from the 80 series ...

Sorry to kind of hi-jack, but depending on price, I could use a set for a 60 series with electric locker (so long splined short side). I could also use a spare front inner long side with the long splines for the electric locker. And BJonroids, are you sure about your info? All the info I have ever ...

No one really said anything, and it's kinda a no-brainer--but just in case--make sure and try the lockers on some nice low-traction dirt or gravel. Some people like to try 'em out on the pavement and it's more difficult to get 'em to lock there. Also, gotta be in 4-low I believe and the center-diff ...

Sweet write up! And now it's in the archives forever and ever... My buddy and I just picked up FF rears a month ago. Mine's already under my rig and runnin' around, but if my buddy ever does anything with his, I think we'll be tryin' it out. Got access to a machine shop that can do the work for us ...
