Re: Vdj79
Mate there has been alot of talk lately about this topic, regarding the current hiluxes. A new 'chip' has hit the market from the tuning company HKS, now its actually a piggy back ecu not a chip. This means the tuning capabilities are almost endless. You can tune the timeing, pump, injectors boost ...

Question 1:- did you get an approval letter from vehicle standards for the 4 link? If not that blue plate is worth nothing, because there is no code for that mod under the Light Vehicle Code or the Heavy Vehicle Code for that matter. Question 2:- again, is there an approval from vehicle standards ...

Im sure hiluxpunisher (Simon) ran them on the front of his old duel cab, made a big difference when flogging around the tracks according to bubs.
Check with buddy he had a set laying around his shop for ages for a good price I looked into them for the lux, might save you freight.

Re: Can I get 4 link rear engineered in qld?
Just because it's plated doesn't mean sqaut. I can get a engineer to mod plate my flipped arms. And some have already done this. Still doesn't mean it's accepted by transport in qld. Like Greg said. They will put it off the road and then chase the engineer. Sorry but did you read any of the posts ...

Have a chat to buddy from budscustoms he did mine, and has done alot now never had an issue with engineering. sales@budscustoms.com.au or 0417708598 he will point you in ...

Didn't say that the F series didn't. Ford have had some, we'll say teething problems, with their later model diesels. They have a new engine again, they say it's the best one yet - though I did hear that last time as well. 397hp Duramax Silverado  we have heard that the new diesel is meant ...

fox timing, valving & etc
Guys I'm getting fox coilovers and shocks on my hilux, and I'v never used them before. Just wondering how they are adjusted in rebound, timing and valving. Also how hard is it to do yourself, or is it better to let a pro do it?
any info would be great thanks.
