80 series front bake backing plates

If I simply remove these will it harm any hub internals? Didn't wont to hack them up. I found that there is a kit for 40 & 60 series. Can't seem to find much else on them. Some help would be good.

types of fuel pumps

My machanical fuel pump on the clevo (351) has decided it wants to leak. So my question is.
Would it be better to go to an electric one or stay with the machanical? and

Which one would be more reliable?

you will have to change the radiator shroud, because the radiator will lift up as well. With mine I just took the bottom half off and it cleared the fan. Also the 4x4 lever might hit the cab

80 series power steering

Just wanted your thoughts on this.

My steering pump has died from previous owner using wrong fluid. Should I replace the box as well or just put an inline filter in and flush it out acouple of times.

Your advise would be appreciated.
