Brake Grinding Noise
I have a bad grinding noise coming from my brakes when braking. Braking works fine and was hoping it was the brakes so I changed them last night and continues to make noise. Old pads were only about half way worn down and looked fine. We did notice however the the disc rotor is worn in about 2-3mm ...

TB42E dual fuel petrol problem
Hi guys, My GQ TB42E is running on dual fuel and runs fine on gas but on petrol it runs horrible. It has no power until revs get high and will backfire often at low revs/feels like its not getting fuel i guess. After any suggestions on what it might be and hopefully can fix it myself. So where do i ...

Front Hubs

I assume I need new hubs? I dont do any extreme 4wding so what sort of hubs should I get and what can I expect to pay to ...

I started to read your post and was about to say it is your clutch booster as that is exactly what my 92 GQ was doing and it even started to slip the more it warmed up. Not sure if yours still has a pushrod going into the master cylinder but if so this may need adjusting as if it is out to far it ...

Just took it to a brake and clutch specialist near my work. He said it could be that but thought it would be strange if it hadn't been adjusted originally. I have booked it in to workshop tomorrow to leave with them to figure out what it is. Is this push rod in the booster easy to adjust as I might ...

Was at mechanics for 45 minutes last night while trying to bleed it properly (assuming that is it). He tested the master cylinder by clamping the hose and putting pressure on pedal or something and said its fine. Seemed fine when leaving but again half way to work today it starts to grab very high ...

Hi, The clutch was only light for the first minute or two when I couldn't get it into any gear, as if the car had to run and build up pressure for the clutch to work. Once I got it into gear it seemed normal except only bitting in at the top of pedal release. PS- This is my vehicle and had someone ...
