Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I rang a place to have the car booked in for them to have a look at it and they have told me that to machine mine (twin piston caliper) they need to remove the entire rotor etc and are saying around $200 to be machined. Does this sound expensive?

UPDATE: Found the pressure regulator. it has the vacuum hose and a fuel hose going into it. Clamp the fuel hose?

How much should a set of manual ones roughly set me back?

Hi guys my auto front hubs make a horrible clunking noise once put into 4wd and start moving. When in 2wd can also hear a slight grinding noise when driving coming from the wheel.

I assume I need new hubs? I dont do any extreme 4wding so what sort of hubs should I get and what can I expect to pay ...

I started to read your post and was about to say it is your clutch booster as that is exactly what my 92 GQ was doing and it even started to slip the more it warmed up.
Not sure if yours still has a pushrod going into the master cylinder but if so this may need adjusting as if it is out to far it ...

Ok took it to specialist today and let them have a look at it. Just got phone call and the booster is pushing the rod 10mm further than it should and is being sent off to have the booster rebuilt.

Just reading through manual now and seems pretty easy to do once the master cylinder is off. I think I will give it a go tonight and see if I can fix it. Seems strange would need adjusting without anyone touching it in the first place but will see how we go.

Just took it to a brake and clutch specialist near my work. He said it could be that but thought it would be strange if it hadn't been adjusted originally.

Yer there is a clutch booster. I am not to sure how it works but I assume it gives pressure and allows the clutch to be pressed in easier once car is running similar to brake booster?

Hi, The clutch was only light for the first minute or two when I couldn't get it into any gear, as if the car had to run and build up pressure for the clutch to work.
