Matt, I've got a set of 4 cores and 4 aluminium tubes sitting in my garage unused since I've given up on my project. Do you want them or should I set up a thread in the forsale section.

The intercooler will be replacing the top half of the inlet manfold, so hopefully the volume increase won't be that much.

Matt, do you think I'll have troubles using a setup like this after the throttle body? Essentially the intercooler box would become my inlet manifold and it is going to be bolted onto the factory inlet runners.
Would I have to place extra internal bracing to prevent the unit collapsing under vacuum.

The RB30 bottom ends are suprisingly strong. Plenty of NA RB30's have had turbos strapped to the side and make over 300hp, without rebuilding the bottom end. The advantage of using individual end caps is they are generic to different housing designs. If a single piece end cap was built, you would have to design the housing to suit it.
