Matt, do you think I'll have troubles using a setup like this after the throttle body? Essentially the intercooler box would become my inlet manifold and it is going to be bolted onto the factory inlet runners.
Would I have to place extra internal bracing to prevent the unit collapsing under vacuum.

The RB30 bottom ends are suprisingly strong. Plenty of NA RB30's have had turbos strapped to the side and make over 300hp, without rebuilding the bottom end. They will handle decent amounts of boost (17psi) even with the standard 9.5:1 compression, though you probably aren't chasing figures like ...

I'd say the only real way to do this would be to use the aircon system to complement an already setup water/air intercooler. Have a header tank for the coolant where you can drop in the aircon evaporator. Though any heat removed from the coolant by the aircon is then going to have to be expelled by ...

The advantage of using individual end caps is they are generic to different housing designs. If a single piece end cap was built, you would have to design the housing to suit it. Look up ESS tuning, they make performance kits for BMW's, their supercharger kits come with a new cast inlet manifold ...

A mate from work introduced me to this site when he saw this thread about the laminova cores. I have since purchased a set of 4 cores and am in the process of designing a housing for them. They will be used on the engine that I'm also in the process of building, Nissan's old RB30E bottom end with ...
