I think your mate got ripped off. My cruiser uses standard leads and plugs. Unless other cars need to use different ones. I haven't heard of this.

I got an "93" 80 series. Better off road and cheaper. My 4.5 goes a lot harder than most the 100 series ones so I think the motors are similar. There are plenty of very low klm ones around that probably haven't been off road.

I have a 80 series "93" with a 4.5ltr with over 380000 klm,s on gas for the last 2-3 years and there is no loss of power or milage. When I had standard tyres on it I was getting up to 440klm from around 85 ltrs. Ask your local Toyota dealer who fits gas to there new cars. I did because there are ...
