Hey guys, a friend has a '93 Jackaroo SWB/MWB with standard 16" steel wheels. Can you fit 15" rims, maybe with a greater negative offset, or is he stuck with 16" or bigger rims? I assume it has 16's due to the caliper size? Search seems to be broken, so any help is appreciated. -Steele.

Do the thermo fans blow or suck?

Just asking because you don't want hot air blowing on the driver/navigator.

Are you sure that the bolts that hold the arm on aren't loose?

I have one in my GQ and the centre metal cap part gives an electric shock when touched and car is running. I am also having a lot of trouble with it not producing spark, and when it has started it isn't running very long and cuts out. Went and saw local spare parts place and they have never sold ...

BTW, for those playing at home, they are Zook extended shackles. They just worked out to be perfect for my aplication

The drive shaft doesn't have to come out. According to the repair manual, once you've undone everything attached to the ball joint you "should" be able to wiggle it out.

I couldn't get mine out and ended up removing the lower control arm.

It would also seem that you could get a factory fire extinguisher and emergency flares with your Gen2

Bit of a n00b question, but where do i find the chassis number?

AFAIK they are the only ones in the world.. and they are good

The LED lights that you can buy from auto shops (combo stop/tail/indicator) have coloured LED's behind coloured plastic, probably for the above reasons. I think using the white ones will look too washed out, the coloured ones are still plenty bright.

Have you checked the sensors at the wheels? My light stays on all the time too, but i know one of the sensor cables has been ripped out.

A friend at work (05 TJ) has just had this kit installed by a reputable Jeep workshop and it is leaking fluid from where the speedo goes into the extension housing. It has been back to the workshop and they have changed the seal 4 times, but when he got it back to work yesterday, it's still leaking ...

Thanks for the ideas Scott, the snorkel is a brand new homemade one. I asked if he had knocked off another hose but he reakons no.

So a friend has just put a snorkel on his Paj, 2.6 carby, it'll idle fine and rev fine, but as soon as he tries to drive the car it coughs and splutters. Why don't you just go to Clark Rubber (Or similar) and buy some of their rubber sheeting and make your own custom ones?
