No different than a sedan, but they have to be strapped into the laft side of the 3/4 seat in a cruiser. Which means the mrs will be in the centre.

Thats the thing, they have been good for the last 4 years. Thats why im prepared to give one a go. Im sick of having old gear. If they did bring out a 6cyl diesel again and i really wanted it, id just sell it and upgrade, no big deal. Im not really sure how many km i do per year maybe 50k? Id have ...

Re: Out with the old in with the new.....
If your getting a chip get a chip that controls your injection timing and duration. There are a fair few chips which just control fuel rail pressure and this puts added strain on your fuel system pump, injectors, seals etc. The chips that control the injectors themselves leave the fuel pressure at ...

Re: HOT TD42
Very good service Tazz!!
Its been good since the big alloy rad but still gets up to 100 on a hill loaded. I think it might be a case of adjusting my driving style to suit.

Tell that bloke at ARB to stop playing with himself and give you some real advice instead of trying to better his sales record. My GQ has done 310k with no diff change ever, and its still tight as. Re: HOT TD42
I think the problem there could be "chinese radiator" not that it's alloy. My dad was having the typical TD42 warmth problems in his GU wagon - particually when towing. 18 months ago we dropped a PWR alloy radiator in as he was just about to head of travelling. They have one done 50,000ks since ...
Re: HOT TD42
Well, 5 months down the track and the big fancy 3 core chinese aluminium radiator from ebay has started to leak, im going to throw some stop leak in it and see how i go, but im going to get a custom copper one built i think. Re: Air tank, compessor and air horns
With the valve shut, i can run my lockers without charging the whole tank. Nice, i quickly brainstormed that the other day while driving, was wondering how to get around filling the whole tank!! I might try an electric solenoid instead of running air lines to a tap. Although it wouldnt be all that ...

Re: plumbing aux tank into main tank
If you have a sub tank sitting at the same level as your main, you will need a transfer pump. And also make sure your breather works.
My sub tank sits above my main, so i have it gravity feeding into the main via T piece into the filler neck return.

Re: Air tank, compessor and air horns
Plumb the line from compressor into air tank, with a pressure cut off switch somewhere in the tank or line, probably run the compressor from under your seat or behind it. Run line to the air horns with an electric solenoid in between the tank and horns with a push button activation switch in your ...

Re: Is this a decent Solar Kit?
Any thoughts on how often you would have to run the car to provide the extra "top up" you might sometimes need? I realise it depends on the weather but what would a sort of average case be - to kick in a few hours' worth of fridge-running power plus recover the power it took to start the motor etc ...
