Just a couple questions regarding putting a gu steering box in a Gq, I've searched quite a bit and haven't found the answer I'm after. Will a gu box make the steering lighter? When ever I've driven a gu the steering feels lighter than mine in the Gq. Or could it be that my power steer is ...

I largely disagree with that, that is how I welded all my exhaust, and cause its purged it looks the same on the inside as the outsideIt's not suited for thin wall or small diameter tubing.
Can you explain why you think it not suitable?

I reckon i have a similar problem and got me stuffed what it is, my clutch will be fine 90% of the time, then the pedal with go hard and feel like the clutch is already half dis-engaged yet the pedal comes up to the same height? Hey all, as the topic states im wondering if there is a difference in these gaskets? and if so can i use a "TD42T" Head Gasket on a TD42 that is now turbo'd with bout 16psi.

Could be an obvious question but are the motors in the new utes (common rail 3 ltr td) the same motor that has been giving all the troubles in the GU wagons?
If so are they any better? or if they are different, are they any good? Any info would be great..

Now come to think of it, a mate has an ex ambo F-250. It has a twin alternator twin battery setup, im sure an ambo has a few more bells and whistles run so to speak but i still found it quite interesting that they had gone down that path.

thanks stuee, i hear where your coming from but apart from just wanting to be different to everyone else out there this 2 door holds a bit of family history if you like.
Im sure it woud be a dam sight easier to buy a patrol and stick a LS1 in it but i have this expensive and work creating problem ...
