It's not suited for thin wall or small diameter tubing.
I largely disagree with that, that is how I welded all my exhaust, and cause its purged it looks the same on the inside as the outside

Can you explain why you think it not suitable?

Cheers Guys, Thanks for the info, sadly my local nissan dealer has Knuckle heads employed which doesnt help my situation as they are the typical" oh no you have to have one of these gaskets cause your car was built on a tuesday at lunchtime in 1988, no other part will fit it" sort of bullshit ...

Hey all, as the topic states im wondering if there is a difference in these gaskets? and if so can i use a "TD42T" Head Gasket on a TD42 that is now turbo'd with bout 16psi.

I doubt you will get it rated as a load sharing suspension without an engineers report on the design, which will cost alot?

Could be an obvious question but are the motors in the new utes (common rail 3 ltr td) the same motor that has been giving all the troubles in the GU wagons?

If so are they any better? or if they are different, are they any good? Any info would be great..

Now come to think of it, a mate has an ex ambo F-250. It has a twin alternator twin battery setup, im sure an ambo has a few more bells and whistles run so to speak but i still found it quite interesting that they had gone down that path.

I think id be going a twin alternator ...
