Just a couple questions regarding putting a gu steering box in a Gq, I've searched quite a bit and haven't found the answer I'm after. Will a gu box make the steering lighter? When ever I've driven a gu the steering feels lighter than mine in the Gq. Or could it be that my power steer is ...

It's not suited for thin wall or small diameter tubing.

I largely disagree with that, that is how I welded all my exhaust, and cause its purged it looks the same on the inside as the outside

Can you explain why you think it not suitable?

As I said, just what my mate calls it, but walking the cup makes sense as that's what your doing

Hey all, as the topic states im wondering if there is a difference in these gaskets? and if so can i use a "TD42T" Head Gasket on a TD42 that is now turbo'd with bout 16psi.

I wondering all this as ive blown my Head Gasket and wonder what my best option for a new gasket is ie:

How are you going to handle the load sharing?

I doubt you will get it rated as a load sharing suspension without an engineers report on the design, which will cost alot?

Can the load sharing thing be explained a bit more for me? isnt that where rocker or slipper style ...

Could be an obvious question but are the motors in the new utes (common rail 3 ltr td) the same motor that has been giving all the troubles in the GU wagons?

Just to throw my 2 cents worth in, ive had nothing but trouble with Aussie, same deal, lack of brakets, Radiator cap in wrong place, i to sent my back 3 times, it may not have been for a gu. But same problems

Now come to think of it, a mate has an ex ambo F-250. It has a twin alternator twin battery setup, im sure an ambo has a few more bells and whistles run so to speak but i still found it quite interesting that they had gone down that path.
