also the sals is about 1.5 times bigger than the rover type that would come stock front and rear in a swb. it has a longer pinion and the pinion is lower than center. sals have been fitted to swb but im not sure they are ideal....strong yes, but they present other problems Serg what are the other ...

hi am looking very seriously at buying an 84 estate as my first offroad toy. it has a 2.5 inch spring lift fitted and was wondering what would be the max size in tyre i could fit.

also what are the problems to look out for and what can be done to prevent them?

buying a 70 series

hi every one i'm looking at buying swb 70 series with the 3b engine is there anything that i should be looking out for in regards to potential issues.

should note that the cruiser has had some modifications, snorkel,rock sliders, 50mm shackle lift, 33's and such like.

the tyre shop near me has just bought a few sets in not cheap but he's put a set of 35's on his 70 series and reckons they're the best thing he's tried. from the look of his truck today they certainly fling the mud.
