how good was my 7 year later post! only saw the date after i posted..haha fairly funny
they make a difference..handles SO much better.. (for mine anyway..2" lift, 33's, roofrack, bar work etc)

castor corrected front radius arms will fit def 90/110/130 and disco 1 cranked rear radius arms or trailing arms will fit def90/110/130 and disco 1 also i just got some rear ones and starting putting them in this arvo..but unfortunatly 4.5K worth of tools was stolen out of my work car on tuesday ...

im seriously looking into making more horsies outa my disco..3.9L the boys are turbo'in there petrol gq patrols and i dont wanna be left behind.. i guess i want to know what turbos & cooler SHOULD i be using.. seen a few ideas floating around..Does anyone have any know how??!! i realise its a TONNE ...

it has a serpentine belt..my budget is to limited as i just want an alternator to do the trick..maybe one with more overkill
..
gets used camping heaps so fridge, stereo and thermo fans are the main killers atm..

good alternator?
hi guys just wandering wat is the best alterator for a 3.9 V8i S1 Disco? just doing dual batteries and have fitted thermo fans and has a fairly rude sound system so after an alternator with overkill
..any thoughts??

Disco rear bars
Hi everyone..has anybody had a crack at making custom rear bars for disco's? or know anyone who makes them in melbourne? im thinkin about having a crack at making one..if anyone has pics of their custom rear bars could you please post up some pics?! thanks
yes a cut guards with flares will be the trick and look nice..but there $500..or $1100 fitted.. flares will come next after the lift cos ive cut the rear quater already to help cope with 33's ..waitin on the lift to work out my bars and rear quarter so i know where i want to cut back the rear flares ...

thanks guys i friggen has no idea about half that stuff that has to be done to do it right..not real interested in smashin or butchering...yet..cos shes still clean..ill put up some pics when i get the lift in..thanks heaps!!

hey guys..i have a 95 disco with 2" suspension lift and want to smash in 2" body lift to help clear some scrubbing with my 33's i just put on tonite.. i put in the lift kit myself and was nothin to it but wats involved for a body lift? brake lines etc... is it worth it or not?? pros and cons etc ...

just reading this ive been meaning to find out this noise i have in my driveline..so this topic is relevant so me..i have a 95 manual 3.9 disco that backlashes when easing off the gas or shifting gears..and when creeping slowly in gear it makes a kinda tickering sound in the drive line..been there ...

How you setup depends on what you want to do with it and what you want to get out of it. What to do?
