Re: Very different crawler at SEMA and some JK pics
Thanks guys that build up was a good read.
We had a JK and loved it except the endless problems that came with it and the completely useless dealer support. I will never buy a new Chrysler again, a second hand TJ isnt out of the question though.

Very different crawler at SEMA and some JK pics
Saw these photos on the JK forum and thought I woud share: I'm sure some of you have seen this rig before but it doesn't look like anything I have seen before. Love the hydraulic drive to the wheels http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r132/robert_162/Project%20JK%20Sema/mainphpg2_viewcore.jpg http ...

Maybe put your old qustion back so it doesn't look like Joel and I just made up some crap to post that was completely random and for future reference for others. Also the new question has been asked numerous times, I would cut the gaurds and lower it. A good cut can look factory with a more standard ...

I did not have LPG, some of this setup was designed by krimnl, hoon and sandy I ran a Vortech V1 S trim supercharger, custom made bracket, and pulley off the crank. Belt was a V belt, tensioner off a falcon if I remember correctly. The power steering resevoir also needed to be remotely mounted and a ...

I run q78's on my swb patrol, they measure 260mm across the tread and 300mm sidewall to sidewall. I find them quite good in all terrain except hardpack slippery clay where thay have no bite. They definately need grooving across the centre tread blocks to get the most out of them. I would consider a ...

I had 35 x 11.5 pedes, sold them and bought q78's. From what i have driven so far the q78's are a very good tyre however the simex are just a bit better. The q78's have poor grip on hardpack wet clay, a bit unpredictable, which is where i have spent the last 4 weekends driving trying to keep up with ...

I have darrens and petes old vortech blower on mine, not sure on any technical details but have sorted out the belt throwing problem. as said in a lot of previous posts a spring lift will not help you fit bigger tyres, think about it, you put a 4in lift in, go over a bump and compress the suspension 4in you are back to standard height. Compress it to the bumpstops it is like you had no lift at all, you will need to body lift and ...
