Best gearbox combo for 1UZFE into county?

Hi Ive been thinking that this would be a better option then an isuzu 4bdt conversion because of fuel prices, engine weight, and cost of conversion. The plan would be to run it on lpg also. What would be the easiest way to fit a 1UZFE to a defender Would prefer not to have to move the transfer case ...

What's the MSA 5 speed Box like to shift up and down gears? My lt95 is notchy to the extreme and quick down changes impossible. The isuzu auto an option?

Im also considering the 4HE1-T. Can get one for $7500 with 5 speed. So whats the verdict. Could you make it fit or what?
