the bar will physicly fit the chassis without any mods but the later model had different lights and grill which will hit the bar.

basicly anything over 50mm is not legal.
and police and transport are now cracking down on this type of 4x4 modification,so is it worth it?

i see and repair quite a few diffs that were installed by people that think they know what they are doing,and despite have VERY comprehensive instructions they still ...

you rarely hear about the couple of hundred thousand or so airlockers that have been installed correctly and have no problems.
you only hear about the bloke that bought it secondhand and had a mate who thought he knew how to bolt one together,but stuffs it up.then they get on these ...

if you set the seal housing up correctly in the first place it would not have leaked!

all 4x4 owners can be 100% sure they are getting a genuine,AUSTRALIAN MADE ARB AIRLOCKER when they buy it from an authorised ARB STOCKIST.

if you choose to buy a locker from fleabay or any other online store or any other 4x4 store that does not have ARB on the front of there store,you will not get ...

the prado lsd is the same diff hemisphere as hilux and they aren't very good even brand new.one that is 10 years old would be useless.
you should put a rear in first.
the front diff is not very strong and could easily be broken if you were to lock it only.

regarding some peoples opinions on nissan ...

those engines have an oil cooler built onto the side of the block which can leak coolant into the oil.

the lsd oil is used and recomended in airlockers because the bs viton o rings like the lsd oil and will last longer.

those are the right diffs for your patrol.
you should use lsd oil.any brand.

egt should be measured before the turbo

you could just buy a decent quality winch like a warn and be done with it.
magnums start at just over $900.

mix and match suspension DOES NOT WORK regardless of what you say about the rubbish you try to sell on this forum.

ONLY matched and engineered suspension kits that where designed for the exact model will do the correct job.

leave the mix and match to KFC they do a great variety bucket!

did you fit the diff centre to the car or did they?

its a bit unfair to carry on and say things about any workshop or their workmanship on a public forum without at least giving the store a chance to look at it.

all 4x4's,especialy newer models require a matched 4x4 suspension system that was designed for that particular model.mixing and matching different manufacturers products will often end in a poor outcome for your money.

well its been 12 months since the new arb compressor was released,and what a great success they have been!

a mod plate must be fitted which confirms the welds are certified,that it has been fitted in an adr approved position using suitable mountings and there are no leaks.
