Re: 90 Series Prado tech

G'day mate, are you sure it's an xt model?

As far as i know only RV models come out with the 2.7L (3RZ), and they are the base model of the 90/95 series Prados. RV's did not come out with a sub tank, only the GXL's and up did.

Hope it helps

Re: Wheel come off

Yea I know I was lucky, the damage was low. I pulled the drum off and the axle out, the drum was a bit grazed, and backing plate was bent and ground down at the bottom. I pulled the axle out and the wheel Bering fell apart as I pulled it out. Not sure if this was from the wheel coming off or just ...

Re: Wheel come off

Yea I’m hoping all I have to do is fit a new drum bark, about the only time I’m happy to have drum brakes on ;) . Ill be pulling the drum off, and axle out and see how they look.

I guess now is a good time to fit new shoes and brake cylinders.

SURF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.

Hi all, I did a search but with no luck. I was wanting to know if I'm able to put a surf cluster in my hilux ln106? I know it will fit, but will the extra gauges have plugs for them in my harness? I'm guessing not, but any help will be a big help. surf http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k564/RuMBoZ ...

i think i will go with the 60 series becaues i'm going to use it for work and play in the bush. Plus, if i damage or scratch the body i won't be too concerned as i would with an 80 series >. I like buying my cars as close to stock as possible so i can do the mods i want. buying stock also indicates ...

Hi Guys Thanx for the replies. I have a 10k limit to buy a 4wd and mods (i.e. 2" lift, 33" tyres, better bull bar and snorkel) this is why i am wanting to buy the 60 series because it's a low buy in priced 4wd. i also think it would be hard to get a GQ in such good condition, low k's and diesel. I ...
