bandaid or solution??
Seal it with silicon you say. Is this because it leaks through the cracks where the steel meets the fibreglass and the bolts are underneath? Or would it also be coming under where the rubber seal is? The overall condition of the seal and roof is very good.

The roof of my FJ40 is leaking. The channel inside fills up when it rains and having had the same problem in another one years ago i figure it is a common problem. I assume that I need a new seal (where to get one?) and how do you refit the roof so that the problem doesnt come back? Or is it also a ...

Thanx for all the info, it is exactly the info i was after and now knowing that there is a source makes it all seem a whole lot easier.
