Supercharging 1HZ v.s turbo charging

There is a kit available at: http://www.bulletcars.com/superchargers/toyota/1-hz-diesel-42-supercharger-system.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I am just wondering if anyone had any experience with these systems? Thanks for the feedback guys, I left the car with auto-sparky so I can't measure the voltages or inspect the tiny voltage sensing wire. but will do that once I get the car back. 1. I don't understand the way that tiny voltage sensing wire works. I assume it is connected to the positive battery ...

Landcruiser 105 series 4.2D Alternators dying

Hi Guys, I have problems with alternator dying since I connected additional battery to the main car's battery. No isolators were used of any kind just 35mm copper cable to connect the main and axillary battery. 1. Installed a dual battery and connected it in parallel with the main car’s battery. ...

I checked my fan and it has yellow dot on the fan. Infact almost all parts in the car have yellow dots.

The fan is fairly stiff because I tried bending it by hand and it looks like it would brake before it could rich the radiator.

How can I check the part number of the fan?

Strange short noise when turning corners

Hi Guys, I have 105 series landcruser, from time to time It produces a short noise in the front of the car. I have noticed that noise occurs when for example changing gear from 4th to 3rd, especially if I am going litle bit fast for the 3rd gear. Maybe it is just coincidence but I think it almost ...

Water crossings

Hi Guys, I am going to go to a Tag along tour in Tasmania in January. The tour operator told me to install a snorkel professionally. He says that water depth can sometimes be up to the windscreen. In that case would your car be full of water after you cross the river? If that is the case than its ...

Thanks guys, Those were the answers I was looking for. What bull bar would you recommend for me to fit so I can use the high lift jack on it. Hi Guys, Is it OK to put hifh lift jack inside my towbar rectangle and lift it. Also I have factory Landcruser alloy bullbar on the front and it seems that I can't use the high lift jack to lift it either. On the side I have factory side steps and it looks so fragile I would not even try to use high ...

I am also worried about car being too high for some shopping centers where 2m height is max. So don't want to lift it too high. Its got the roof racks as well.

Why do you say I should go for 50mm as minimum?

Cheers,

I went to the Lanotec web site. It seems to be quiet good.

My question is: Does it dry completely after few days or is it sticky therefore making the sand stick to it when you drive on the beach?

And how do you remove it if you want to?

Mud tyres for 100 series

Hi Guys,

I have 100 series 4.2D with solid front axle. I want to buy Mickey Thompson MTZ tyres for it.

I also want to lift the truck a bit by fitting the bigger tyres on it. What would be the tallest tyre that I can fit on it without installing the lift kit?

Cheers,

Hi Guys,

I am planning a trip to Frasier Island around December/January. So I would like to do a rust protection for it.

I found some electronic devices which prevent corrosion. Has anyone had any experience with those?
