Hi,
I have a free play in drive-train that is most noticeable when going slowly in high gears for example:
Press and release accelerator while doing 40km/h in 4th gear
Press and release accelerator while doing 60km/h in 5th gear
Not that I am driving my car in those gears all the time but just ...

Landcruiser 105 series 4.2D Alternators dying
Hi Guys,
I have problems with alternator dying since I connected additional battery to the main car's battery. No isolators were used of any kind just 35mm copper cable to connect the main and axillary battery.

Strange short noise when turning corners
Hi Guys,
I have 105 series landcruser, from time to time It produces a short noise in the front of the car.
I have noticed that noise occurs when for example changing gear from 4th to 3rd, especially if I am going litle bit fast for the 3rd gear. Maybe it is just coincidence but I think it almost ...

Hi Guys,
I am going to go to a Tag along tour in Tasmania in January. The tour operator told me to install a snorkel professionally.
He says that water depth can sometimes be up to the windscreen. In that case would your car be full of water after you cross the river? If that is the case than its ...

how to use high lift jack?
Hi Guys,
Is it OK to put hifh lift jack inside my towbar rectangle and lift it.
Also I have factory Landcruser alloy bullbar on the front and it seems that I can't use the high lift jack to lift it either.
On the side I have factory side steps and it looks so fragile I would not even try to use ...

Mud tyres for 100 series
Hi Guys,
I have 100 series 4.2D with solid front axle. I want to buy Mickey Thompson MTZ tyres for it.
I also want to lift the truck a bit by fitting the bigger tyres on it. What would be the tallest tyre that I can fit on it without installing the lift kit?
Cheers,
Slobo

Hi Guys,
I am planning a trip to Frasier Island around December/January. So I would like to do a rust protection for it.
I found some electronic devices which prevent corrosion. Has anyone had any experience with those?

100 Series LC 4.2D What is it worth
Hi Guys,
I have found a Landcruser 100 series 1998 model 4.2D with 169 000 km and full service history. The guy is asking $22500.
Do you think it is a good price for it?
Also I did the RACV check on the car it came very positive except two major items.
1. Clutch operation shudders slightly on ...
