That's a turbocharged 2.6 litre Isuzu MU (Amigo), with forged pistons, steel rods and a lot of upgrades, it produces about 200 hp at the wheels

Have you checked fuel and air filters? Yes, they are brand new check that the mec didn't adjust the fuel screw in the back of the pump, It richens and leans similar to a carby but through the whole range have seen this done o get cars across the pits but makes them real sluggish. That's new to me ...
