Gear boxes. Different ratios?
Does any know if patrol gearboxes have different gear ratios. I am running an injected 5litre and am after a box with a closer 2nd to third ratio. Not sure what box is in it. It is out of a diesel ute. Jay

Yeah, I am running full drum freespool. I'll try the crisscross method and see if that helps. I re - spool after every winch and, like I said, the first winch is fine. If I have a second winch on the same stage that is when I run into problems with the rope getting caught up. Thanks for your help ...

Is anyone using this winch rope that can help me out. It seems in competition, after my first winch, when spooling out the cable it always gets caught in itself on the drum. Slows things up heaps. Thinking of going back to plasma. If you have any thoughts on this let me know. Is anyone else out ...
